🥕Winter Farm-Stand Hopping
The Island is blissfully quiet this week. I zipped around from one farm stand to the next, so grateful to our Island farmers who make things happen in the winter. (Find a list of open farm stands below.) I’ll never forget how they pivoted during the early months of the pandemic to offer us a saner shopping experience than the grocery store.
As I drove over to Ghost Island Farm, I remembered how convenient it was during that time to pre-order online and get a call when my brown bag was all packed up with goodies – from Rusty’s famous kale to a dozen fresh eggs. Online ordering is still available in 2025, and I recommend becoming a co-op member, too.
