Brioche French Toast three ways: with Apple-Maple Syrup, with Maple-Berry Syrup, or with chocolate shavings

🙏🏼 Thankful

This past weekend was a heartwarming reminder of why (and how much!) I love the food folks on this Island – and the incredible food they grow, cook, bake, and make available to our community. Between the Great Martha’s Vineyard Bake Off, the Winter West Tisbury Farmers’ Market, and the opening of the beautiful new Beetlebung Farm farm stand (more info below), there was good cheer, a warm fire 🔥, and a feast for the eyes and the tummy no matter where you went. Add to that the more relaxed pace and quiet landscape of the off-season, and there is much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving.

🦃 I’m betting you probably have your holiday menu figured out by now, but if not, remember all of our Thanksgiving recipes are in one place. You can also take a look at last week’s newsletter and the previous one for ideas and tips. Or you can go straight to the recipe index page on cookthevineyard.com and search many different ways. And I’ve got some suggestions for last-minute appetizers – as well as some thoughts on food for the rest of the weekend, like the French Toast with Apple-Maple Syrup above.
